Let me start of by apologizing for the lack of blogging on my part over the last week…not the smartest thing to do when you’re attempting to build a foundation of viewers.

Speaking of viewing did everyone catch the Lazio-Fiorentina game Sunday?

It just proves to me that we can compete with pretty much any team in Serie A. With all the positives to take from the game the main issue for me unfortunately negative. It’s frustrating to think that we can beat up on Levski Sofia (4-0) 3 days prior away from home come north of the peninsula and almost steal another 3 points from Fiorentina but in the end succumb to defeats to teams inferior or of equal value simply because of exhaustion. The same 11 players have been overplayed up until now and it’s amazing that they’ve been able to survive on 2 fronts up until now. As the legendary Sting has said numerous times: “I’ll send an SOS to the World” … For Lazio fans its not the world but either the societa or even possibly the Lega Calcio: please step in (lega) and force a re-calling of the isolated players (Pandev, Ledesma, Stendardo, Manfredini, Firmani and the list goes on)
Or please, Claudio Lotito swallow some pride and recognize that we’re desperate for players. We surely can’t keep this up.

On a humorous note please check out the latest North Curve Video Episode: I embark on the Canadian edition of the Supporters Derby here inside Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. It was another historic win for the Lazio Club of Canada as they swept aside Magica Roma Toronto 4-2 with a goal from yours truly and a series of other fine lads who are in the film.
